If you do not get offended by people using the “N” word every 30 seconds and you love “Bloody Brash” westerns then this is your movie.  You get a good feeling for a  movie right at the beginning whither your going to like it or not…within minutes I knew I was going to enjoy this one! It’s very gory with skulls and brains flying around on the multiple head shots that happened throughout the movie (It is not for the faint of heart).  Nominated for 5 Golden Globes is a sign that this movie has potential…And it doesn’t hurt that it’s a Film by Quentin Tarantino who in the past hasn’t let me down too many times. I loved this movie and I think it will be an instant classic!

Django Unchained is a fantasy. It is ridiculous and over the top. It’s frequently cartoonish in its violence and imagery. It is not for the faint of heart. If I had to summarize Django Unchained in four words, I’d say – Bloody. Brash. Unmistakably Tarantino. A petition against it is pointless, and Spike Lee refusing to see it won’t do anything to slow down what I see as inevitable, big success for this movie on Christmas Day. About: This is the next Quentin Tarantino film, coming out Dec. 25.  Django Unchained stars Jaime Foxx as Django, Christoph Waltz as Dr. Schultz, Leonardo DiCaprio as Calvin Candie, and Samuel Jackson in the fearsome role of Candie’s 2nd hand man, Stephen.  QT has wanted to do something with slavery for awhile, but not some big dramatic “issues” movie.  He wanted to do more of a genre film.  Hence, we got Django Unchained!
